How does an interior design project differ from a house's architectural project?

The architectural project is responsible for the structure of the house: the placement of walls, windows, doors, stairs, roof, foundation, facades. The interior design project is the internal content: furniture and plumbing layout, socket and lighting schemes, finishing of all rooms, colour solutions, and a 3D visualization of every room. We recommend developing both sections in parallel so that, for example, niches for wardrobes or extra sockets can be planned while the walls are still being built.

Do I need a design project if I want a budget renovation?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it pays off even on a modest budget. A design project lets you: avoid overpaying for excess materials (you know the exact amount of tiles, wallpaper, laminate); avoid redoing an unsuccessful layout of sockets and lights; and see the result before the renovation starts (a 3D image). The project usually costs 5–10% of the renovation budget, while the savings from avoided mistakes reach up to 30%.

Do you design interiors for houses built by other companies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We need a measurement plan (technical plan) and information about load-bearing walls and floor slabs. If you don't have them — we can take the measurements ourselves. Besides houses, we also do interior design for apartments, commercial properties and their individual parts.

Do you impose your own style or do what the client asks?

Accepted Answer

We work to your brief. If you have references (photos from Pinterest, magazines) — great. If not, we run a style test and offer 2–3 concepts to choose from.
